Weddings...
The I Do

scroll

There is nothing more special than uniting a couple in love through marriage.

As your Celebrant we will meet together and write the story about you both… the story that says … I'm here as your partner, your wife, your husband….forever……

It’s your day so let's make the ceremony about what you would both like and select readings, rituals & customs that are close to your heart

As your celebrant I will make your ceremony unique, special, beautiful & fun ...so you can focus on each other, enjoying the journey as you fall deeper in love with the love of your life…and to the journey that takes you to the day ... the day you say ... “ I Do”

As your celebrant I will look after all the legal requirements and ensure the NOIM - Notice of Intended Marriage is completed in the the times frames required by the AG

It would be my pleasure to chat to any couples that would like to enquire about my services and meet over a coffee...or wine  ...It's about you .. it's your day...

The Process

Initial Meeting

Our first meeting is generally a casual catch up over a coffee

I think its important to have a no obligation chat about what you would both like on your day and make sure your values align with each other -  we form a very special bond together as we plan your wedding together

Legal Paperwork

So at least a couple of months before the wedding we will get together again and I will start to prepare all the legal paperwork for you. I will prepare all paperwork from beginning to lodgement to the department of Attorney General. Paperwork includes NOIM - Notice of Intent To Marry, Declaration of No Legal Impediment, Certificates of marriages x 2 ( one copy is sent to Births Deaths & Marriages ) and the other copy will stay in the marriage register  The beautiful red book) and the commemorative certificate is presented on the day.

After all papers are lodged to BDM after the wedding you can apply for the official certificate from BDM and it generally takes about two to three weeks for all documents to be processed.

Planning your ceremony:

Planning your ceremony is a lot of fun and my main aim is to make it as easy as possible for you. I will give you an order of ceremony i generally work with that includes lots of information for us to work through and think about what you would like from the music you would like as you walk down the aisle, who is giving you away, beautiful family rituals we can incorporate and lots more
